Top 3 Christian Podcasts Every Mom Should Hear

Motherhood is beautiful… but it is also hard.
And if you are a Christian mom navigating life in a new country, juggling the demands of being a busy mom, or trying to raise children without the wisdom of older Christian women nearby, you are not alone.

Discover my top Christian podcasts for moms who want biblical truth, spiritual growth, and practical advice for motherhood.

Some of us moved far from family.
Some of us are raising our little ones with no aunties or big sisters to lean on.
Some of us are carrying the weight of motherhood quietly, with no one to guide us through biblical truths, Christian faith, or practical advice.

But here is the comfort I cling to:

God has not left us without guidance.
He still teaches us through His Word, His Spirit, His people, and yes — sometimes even through Christian podcasts.

The Bible encourages us in Titus 2:3–5 to learn from spiritually mature Christian women.
But in modern times — with relocation, motherhood, work, and the fast pace of today’s world — finding those Titus 2 mentors next door is not always simple.

That is where podcasts became such a blessing in my life.

Why Faith-Based Podcasts Bless Christian Moms

As Christian moms, we are constantly pouring out — energy, emotions, prayers, patience, meals, discipline, love. It is easy to feel empty or overwhelmed.

Faith-based podcasts offer:

✔ Practical wisdom rooted in Scripture

Not social media trends. Not random advice. But biblical encouragement for everyday life.

✔ Easy spiritual growth for busy moms

Short episodes fit into school drop-offs, laundry, dinner prep, stroller walks — you name it.

✔ Relatable content

Hearing Christian women walk through life’s challenges reminds us we are not alone.

✔ Emotional & spiritual strength

Sometimes one conversation brings the peace you didn’t know you needed.

But here is the important part:

Podcasts are a supplement, not a foundation.

They should never replace:

  • Reading your Bible
  • Praying
  • Fellowship & service in your local church
  • Listening to sermons
  • Bible study with other Christian women

These podcasts are simply Christian women sharing their experiences and biblical principles in ways we can apply to our everyday life.

Think of podcasts as:
Comfort + clarity + support — not spiritual authority.

My Top 3 Christian Podcasts for Moms

(The ones I actually listen to)

These aren’t random “best Christian podcasts” lists.
These are my real-life virtual mentors — the women God used to encourage, shape, and help me grow.

My top Christian podcasts for moms needing spiritual strength, practical wisdom, and biblical truths.

1. Monica Swanson — The Boy Mom Podcast

Monica is a Christian mom of boys, an author, and a woman full of practical wisdom and biblical truths.
She’s written many books — and best believe I have read all of them.

Her insights on character, discipline, emotional health, and faith are timeless.
Even though she homeschools and I don’t, her content speaks deeply into everyday Christian parenting.

2. Ginger Hubbard — Parenting with Ginger Hubbard

Ginger Hubbard changed the way I understand biblical discipline.

Here’s what she teaches Christian moms:

Children don’t “misbehave” — they are born with sin

Those behaviours are not random — they come from a sinful nature.
So discipline becomes discipleship, not frustration.

True correction deals with the heart, not just outward behaviour

This part changed everything for me.

Scripture is the foundation for parenting

She even has a guide full of Scriptures you can use to correct your child lovingly and biblically.

Her book Don’t Make Me Count to Three is incredible.
I am still planning to do a deep study of it — because there is so much wisdom inside.

3. Candace Cameron Bure & Priscilla Shirer — The Seasoned Podcast (Special Series)

Candace is amazing. I have watched most of her podcast, and they have lifted me, but my absolute favourite was the season she did with Priscilla Shirer.

I binge-listened to the entire series.

Priscilla is filled with spiritual depth, biblical encouragement, Holy Spirit wisdom, and the ability to say one sentence that sits in your spirit for days.

One thing she said that I will never forget was about praying for your children:

“Pray that your child will have a gut feeling — a discomfort — whenever they are about to do something wrong.”

That stayed with me.

How Busy Moms Can Fit Podcasts Into Their Day

Here are easy ways to build podcasts into your busy Christian mom schedule:

  • While cooking
  • During school drop-offs
  • Morning routines
  • Laundry & cleaning
  • Stroller walks
  • Nap-time moments
  • Quiet evening routines

You do not need an hour — small pockets count.

Final Encouragement for Christian Moms

Motherhood in today’s world comes with real challenges — cultural pressures, spiritual battles, mom guilt, mental health needs, and raising children who love Jesus in a crazy world.

But hear me clearly:

You are not alone.
God is with you.
God equips you.
And God strengthens you.

Christian podcasts are simply one of the great ways He encourages us while we raise our children in His truth.

Start with these three women.
Let them pour into you the way they poured into me.

You are doing better than you think.
And God’s grace is sufficient for every day of motherhood.
